The Year 2026 welcomes the first annual parent – child golf tournament at Highlands Golf Course.
On Friday, June 19th 2026, 9 foursomes will tee off beginning at 5:00PM. Each foursome will contain two parent – child twosomes competing for this years honor of Parent – Child Champion. There will be two separate divisions for which the child is under 18 years old and 18+. This can include grandparents and grandchildren or parents and children of all ages. There will be closest to the pin competitions on the course and will be ruled according to USGA guidelines that all players must finish out the hole with their ball in the cup. It will be played as a combined score tournament
Following the tournament there will be a short awards ceremony with a pizza dinner and the 2026 Parent Child champions from both divisions will be honored. 2026 is the Inaugural year of our tournament and our perpetual plaque that will hang in the Highlands Golf Course pr shop year round will be graced with champions beginning with the 2026 champions.
